At the heart of this Florida community is the clubhouse.
Fore Ranch, just southwest of Ocala, is a top-choice neighborhood for families that like to enjoy a little space while being close to everything. At the heart of this Florida community is the clubhouse.
Designed to reflect contemporary ranch style, a juxtaposition of boxlike forms creates multiple masses with a combination of gable and shed roofs that slope in varying directions. Exposed rafters and columns that follow the angle of the pitch are a dramatic design feature that adds visual appeal. The windows are a variety of sizes and shapes ranging from large spreads of glass for natural lighting, to long narrow pains angled to follow the slope of the roof line, to small high windows that balance light and heat from afternoon sun.
The warm aesthetic and earthy palette were inspired by elements of Florida’s great outdoors—the sun, greenery, sand, soil, and summer skies. Vaulted ceilings create a sense of grandeur that extends to the outdoor space with unmistakable style. Floors in the main traffic areas are bare cement for lower maintenance and carpeted in the sitting areas with subtle patterns that complement the overall tone of each room creating a cozy, at home feel.
