Associate Principal, Goran Knezevic is an accomplished architect with more than 30 years of design and highly technical experience on major domestic and international projects. His multicultural and multilingual background provides a unique design perspective to his work.
Born in Sarajevo, Goran earned his degree in architecture and began his career working on a string of massive projects throughout Europe and beyond. Beginning with the 1984 Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo, he was part of the team that designed the Zetra Olympic ice and speed skating halls as well as complex bobsledding structures. He also participated on projects for extension of the Baghdad airport in Iraq and spent eight years in Italy working on project Lingotto by Renzo Piano, often called “The City in a City.”
Goran moved to Florida and joined L2 Studios in 1997. He plays an integral role bridging design with construction through advanced 3D visualization while leading the development of construction documents and detailing for major projects for hospitality, resorts, retail, and commercial office buildings. He is involved in all phases of a project and maintains direct contact and coordination with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Goran has a true passion for architecture, music, ballroom dancing, art and graphic design and often uses opportunities to explore new mixed-media design styles and expressions with very creative results. As an artist, he has had several exhibitions in Europe. Goran resides in Orlando with his wife Jadranka.
